“ALAI” is the vocal performance of RAVI PRASAD and the production skills of CHRISTOPHE GOZE. RAVI was born in Kerala, educated in Madras and is now living and currently teaching performers of the Opera House in Paris. CHRISTOPHE was born and educated in France, moved to Japan in ‘88 until ‘96 and is now living and working in London. The vocals of RAVI and the production of CHRISTOPHE were brought together in London. These special CD & Vinyl editions will bring you the pleasure of hearing first up the CLUB MIX by Mass of Different Gear fame and Cari. This is a fusion of elements from tech house, world music and the finest of jazzy house to create a gorgeous lazy groove destined for much action in the worlds more credible venues. The production is first rate and there is some very clever programming involved in the use of the subtlest of chants. Greg Fenton and Jade in their SEMI-PRECIOUS guise take a trip into jazz territory with a George Benson-esque guitar workout. Perfect for those of you who like laid-back Balearic style house.
