Lindsey Thompson
	Born in The Black Country on Christmas Day 1970, lindsey is part Gypsy with a voice bigger than......say............Spaghetti Junction but, sheeeeee's more beautifully designed!. lindsey is a real singer with an incredible voice which travels from record to live performance, with equal power and emotion, grabbing your attention every time.
Crazy as it might seem, lindsey has only just begun to tap into her amazing talent and now she’s on course for a pop career (She's always sung but, up to now, she had other fish to fry!). It was a Sunday night recently when lindsey was heard by a music management company in London who instantly recognised the potential of her exceptional voice and also that lindsey's own original material was ready for development......lindsey started recording straight away. So far she has managed to record about 15 tracks on her visits to London from Birmingham and "room in a basement" is the title of her album of songs which has hit singles, back to back quality songwriting and is enhanced by the voice to die for. lindsey made one appearance at the Kashmir Klub (Feb 2000) got rave reviews, was invited back and also asked to perform at the 12 Bar Club, West One Four and in ronnie scotts in her home town...............doesn't that say something! and................see the rave reviews. Her journey began in the Midlands but there's no limit to where it will take her - she has only just begun. Loot Music Awards 2000 (in association with Mean Fiddler) 1200 bands entered and lindsey was OUTRIGHT WINNER of this prestigious award. She was immediately invited to play The Reading Festival where she amassed many more fans.
