Manfred Mann's Earth Band 1974 - 1986

Albums recorded with the Earth Band include : 'The Roaring Silence' (1976), 'Watch' (1978), 'Angel Station' (1979), 'Chance' (1980, 'Somewhere in Africa' (1982), 'Live in Budapest' (1983), 'Criminal Tango' (1986) and most recently 'Soft Vengeance' (1996). Hit singles include : 'Blinded By The Light' and 'Davys On The Road Again', the former being a Number 1 around the world.

Night 1979 - 1981

Released two albums, 'Night' (1979) and 'Long Distance' (1981) and two Top 20 hits 'Hot Summer Night' and 'If You Remember Me'.

Chris has also released three solo albums 'Radio Voices' (1983), High Cost of Living' (1986) and 'Beat of Love' (1989).

Over the years he has contributed songs and/or vocals to albums by such artists as The Doobie Brothers, Tina Turner, Elton John, Roger Daltrey, Brian May, Barbara Dickson, Ozzie Ozbourne, Rita Coolidge, Michael McDonald, Bonnie Tyler, Isaac Hayes, Jan Hammer, Jennifer Rush, Alan Parson, Elkie Brooks, Heart, Starship, Procul Harem, The London Symphony Orchestra, Peter Maffay, Ray Charles, Def Leppard, Frankie Goes To Hollywood, Trevor Rabin, Goldfinger, Plastiscene, Toto, Robbie Nevil, Sarah Brightman and Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds. Of particular note was the Number 1 hit around the world, 'You're The Voice', written for John Farnham.

Chris toured extensively throughout America and Europe with Manfred Mann's Earth Band from 1975 - 1986, and with Night, also throughout America and Europe from 1979 - 1983. Since 1986 he has been working in Europe under his own name, and also recently with Alan Parson's Project. He made a new album altogether with Manfred Mann's Earth Band, released in 1996. Summer festivals all over Europe 96 and 97, followed by the huge success of 'Blinded By The Light', 'The Best of Manfred Mann's Earth Band'. A new live album released in 1998, 'Mann Alive', is the finite Manfred Mann's Earth Band live album.

Chris is currently working on a new solo album for release in 2001.
