Her Lifetime/Emi debut single "Tell Me Where You're Going" (1990) achieved a top-40 placing in the British charts, spending 15 weeks in the UK Top 100. The albump featured a duet with Pat Metheny. A Top-10 album in Scandanavia, "Tell Me Where You're Going" reached Number 1 on the Japanese charts, where it was released by Toshiba-EMI.
